Florida Panthers overpower Nashville Predators with a 6–2 and Noel Acciari performed a hat trick at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday.

Jonathan Huberdeau, Aaron Ekblad and Frank Vatrano each scored a goal and an assist helped achieve the win for the cats. Viktor Arvidsson and Eeli Tolvanen scored goals for the predators. Roman Josi who is the Predators captain described the feeling of losing three straight games on nhl.com:

“It’s frustrating right now. We’re all frustrated. I’m frustrated with myself. We’re all frustrated with each other. We’re frustrated with the way we’re playing right now. We need to find a way to get out of this together. It’s obviously not the way we want to play right now. We know it’s in the room, I have a lot of belief in this room, but we need to figure it out really quick.”

Nashville Predators kicked off the game as Eeli Tovanen scored with a slap shot on the power play in the first period. Ekblad brought the Panthers into the game as he tied it 1–1 with 13 seconds left in the period. The cats got the 2–1 lead during the second period at 1:15 as Huberdeau got on a breakaway.

Acciari increase the score by 3–1 at 11:17 getting passed Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm in the neutral zone and shot the puck glove side on a 2-on-1 at 18:46. The center got his second goal and made score 4–1 with a rebound from Keith Yandle’s shot in the neutral zone. Noel Acciari talks about scoring three goals on nhl.com:

“I was just focused on trying to play a simple game, not grip the stick too tight and get that first one. It comes in bunches sometimes and I happened to get three. Hopefully I can continue with that game and try to help out the team, whether it’s getting on the board or just blocking a shot.”

During the third period, Viktor Arvidsson got a goal for the Predators and changed the score to 4–2 with a rebound shot by Filip Forsberg. Frank Vatrano increased the score to 5–2 for the cats. Acciari completed his hat trick when he scored the game winning goal on a power-play and made it 6–2 at 16:56.
